John McKean

Wildflower Homes, Inc.
OWNER & BUILDER

John has been doing carpentry and residential construction his whole career. He started working in the building trades at just sixteen years old in Iowa, then worked with a Builder in Minnesota before moving to Colorado. John spent five years building high end custom homes in Aspen, Colorado where he quickly developed an eye for the finer details and finishes. Six additional years of building, mostly alternative, green-energy custom homes in Southern Colorado provided a new perspective and appreciation for a home's consumption and footprint. Upon moving to the East Coast in 2007, at Habitat for Humanity of Chester County, John served for more than ten years as Director of Construction. As owner of Wildflower Homes, with a keen awareness for a era, style and architecture, John aims to deliver projects and custom homes that meet his clients goals. With an extensive and diverse residential construction background, John's talents shine in a range of areas. John leads and oversees work on all projects making sure clients are in-the-loop and informed about the process.
